Our website solutions take care of everything for you.  Our intention is to get to know the client and thereby understand their personal preferences and business methods as well as the functional needs  of the website they require.  Butterfly web design can take care of everything, from initial website  address (url) registration, designing the website from start to finish, to actively marketing your  website once it is live.  Because we offer bespoke development, we are extremely flexible.  The design process and build is split into 3 main stages:  Stage One - Initial Requirements Specification  Following an intial meeting to discuss the functionality and look and feel of the site, a detailed  specification and costing is produced for the client to review, amend and agree.   The website  address (url) is agreed and registered and if required a holding page can be set up with the client's  basic details.  Stage Two - First page design  A small number of different sample pages are produced for review with the client.  They are  intended to define the 'look and feel' of the site, as a website is often a personal matter and  individual preferences vary from client to client.  The initial set of designs is intended to identify the type of features which may then be refined into  an acceptable final design.  Some clients may have a very clear idea about how their site should  look, whilst others have a total blank sheet and are open to a broad range of designs. Two rounds of  prototyping are included in the standard design package, which is generally adequate in most  situations. Appropriate search phrases (meta tags) are agreed so that the website will achieve a reasonable  position in the search engines for these phrases.  Also at this stage, practicalities of the site are also  discussed, for example:    email addresses (of the format name@clientsite.co.uk)    amendment timetable for the website content and how changes will be implemented     identification and analysis of competitors' websites Stage Three - Build and Review  When an acceptable design has been agreed, the functionality is added, the system is tested and  optimised for search engines.  At this point it is 'released' onto the desired web address (URL) and  made available to the general public.  Following Release  Following release, Butterfly web design will monitor and market the website, submitting to  appropriate directories and search engines.  We will perform weekly monitoring of the website's  position and continually build links and submit the site to search engines and directories as part of  the monthly management service.    Expand your business on the web with Butterfly web design Back to top Copyright @ 2009 Butterfly Web Design : Site Map
